The role of the Trust Board is to ensure that River Tyne Academy Gateshead is led and managed effectively, with a clear focus on safeguarding, educational quality, and continuous improvement. We work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure the academy delivers a safe, supportive, and ambitious learning environment where all students can succeed.
We believe that the best outcomes are achieved through strong partnership. We work collaboratively with school leaders, staff, families, carers, and external agencies to ensure that each young person receives the right support at the right time. This joined-up approach helps us to create a consistent and nurturing experience for every learner.
Our governance is focused on maintaining high standards while ensuring that the curriculum is inclusive, relevant, and responsive to the diverse needs of our students.
